After an uneventful flight through Frankfurt, we were greeted in Firenze by our friends and drove through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to Shira's stunning home. Check out that view!! We had lunch at Paolo's, a local favorite spot with a courtyard situated under a fig tree and overlooking vineyards and olive groves. Then we had a short nap, followed by a trip to the local "Coop" grocery store for provisions, and we had a lovely meal of prosciutto e melone and tomate e burrata. And vino, of course.
